Welcome to my photography site! I'm Mark Hatfield, and my photography journey began in 2006 with a simple subject - my dogs. Little did I know that this would be the start of an incredible adventure through the world of visual storytelling.

From those humble beginnings, my photography path gradually expanded as I explored new horizons. I found myself attending iStock-organized events, where I had the opportunity to work with models and delve deeper into the art of photography. Over the years, my interests and subjects have taken me on an exciting journey of evolution.

Photography has always been a journey of learning for me. I've acquired new skills and techniques from various sources, including mentors, books, online resources, and formal classes. I'm a perpetual student, always hungry for new challenges and opportunities to expand my creative horizons.

Mastering the Craft

As a testament to my dedication to this art form, I am currently on the cusp of completing my Master of Arts in Photography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. This academic journey has further honed my skills and provided me with fresh perspectives on photography.

Beyond Still Images

In recent years, my passion for photography has expanded beyond the static frame. I've taken to the skies with a drone, exploring the world from a new vantage point, and I've ventured into the realm of videography, experimenting with the power of motion and storytelling through moving images.
